ORFEO Computational Resources

ORFEO is a managed high‑performance computing service, offering remote SSH access to a Slurm-based environment for batch and parallel workloads. The cluster combines CPU nodes with Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors (including Rome and Genoa generations) and GPU nodes with NVIDIA V100, A100, and H100 accelerators for AI and data-intensive tasks. Users receive accounts with personal workspace and can run jobs without handling system administration. Data is stored on a high‑performance Ceph filesystem with SSD/NVMe and HDD tiers, with additional options for long‑term preservation via SAN and tape.
