Pathogen Research Platform

Cell-based Arrayed Functional Screening with Live BSL-3 Pathogens

CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE - feel free to wishlist for later!

A wide range of human and mouse libraries will be available for functional studies of pathogen-host interactions.

Service Options:

Available Arrayed libraries in 384 format:

  1. Human whole-genome siRNA library (Dharmacon ON-TARGETplus®) – cherry-picking available for custom sub-library development
  2. Mouse whole-genome siRNA library (Dharmacon SmartPool) – cherry-picking available for custom sub-library development
  3. Human microRNA mimics library (Dharmacon, miRBase v21)
  4. Mouse microRNA inhibitors library (Dharmacon, miRBase v21)

Option 1: Image-based phenotypic screening. Automated confocal fluorescence imaging combined with automated image analysis and quantitative feature extraction. Data are generated at the single-cell level and can be exported at both cell-level and well-level resolution. It allows:

  • infection-based screening using live pathogens
  • multi-parametric analysis of host–pathogen interactions and host restriction factors upon infection
  • kinetic multi time point measurement of live cells if needed
