Overview: Detecting molecular alterations in proteins that are present only in small amounts, such as cancer markers, in various types of samples including plasma, cells, and other biological specimens, including FFPE (Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded) tissues. Identifying low-abundance protein changes is pivotal for early diagnosis and monitoring of therapeutic responses.
Workflow: Samples are lysed, alkylated and reduced, digested and purified prior nLC-HRMS/MS analysis. Pre-processing is performed with Proteome Discoverer (Thermo), data analysis is performed with in house script and algorithms.
